Is there something wrong that I need to edit in the private.key?
private.key in winex:

https://ibb.co/hrfk5G
first 4 digits: 0000
size: 650
offset / length: 289

https://ibb.co/fozdQG

CM.cer en winex:

first 4 digits: 3082
size: 807
offset / length: 326

Was there a solution to this problem? I’m quite interested what it is .

If anyone wants some help with this, I'd be happy to do some testing with whomever reaches out to me.

See my post here, I talk about how Forceware converts the private key using /usr/local/bin/mfdemoto

In that thread, you basically did what I was going to do with openssl. I'm glad you made that post for anyone else looking for it.

Can you show us how to use openssl (instead of forceware) to decrypt the private.bin?

Hi Ricktendo,

Later on, I'll grab one of my SB5101s and try it out to make sure. I can let you know when I do that and how I achieved it.

Back in the day when scanning was open, I was able to grab a bunch of sb5120 certs and put them into forceware with the browse and upload function with no issues. SB5101 certs upload with no problems to sb6120, sb6121, and sb6141. It's putting sb6120, sb6121, and sb6141 certs on a sb5101 modem that is an issue

Forceware has no issue as it converts them to a usable cryptography standard if need be using "mfdemoto", which is a custom program that mforce wrote.
