Just go here.

http://www.sbhacker.net/forum/topic/5439...fig-files/

And download the config files there and upload a few to see what you get.

RE: Just a general question :D
50 meg is only possible on a d3 modem which has 4 or 8 bondable download channels. Max about 30 meg per channel. Docsis 1.1 uses only 1 download channel so the max you can hit is 38 in a lab under perfect conditions. Fastest i've ever seen on a d1.1 was 35/17 way back when we could force d3 cfg's on a d1.1 cm. Anything over 25 down is respectable on a 51xx series d1.1 modem. Don't get too greedy and your test setup might last awhile....

They put 50mbps on our lines like 2 weeks ago and gave my service 5mbps boost from 10mbps which is 15 then with the config i gave it it pushed it to 20mbps, but need configs for 50mbps so i can get 38mbps from it. Big Grin

Im not VIP at sbhacker.net so idk if i can download those.

and im broke, so i cant get vip over there lol.

EDIT: + they never sent me my confirmation email for over 2 weeks + another one sent, but never received. So i cant access anything on there.

RE: Just a general question :D
I dont think you will ever see 38 mb/s on your network..more like 33-35 is the max..

38 is in a lab with no other CM's bursting for traffic..

the aggregate for your CMTS will be shared/dispersed among other CM's
This was just done on an SB5101..

If I do this @ 3am, then I would see 1.5 mb/s higher on US and DS

And this is a DPC3000 with full DS bonding and 2 US bonded channels

I don't know about the 50mbps conifg file but on sbh there are the unlimited ones that you can download and use. Maybe Drew or ABMJR can grab them and post them for you.
