Static IP's are configured at the CMTS. Allow the modem to handshake and be served an IP from the DHCP server

I assume your modem has been working for a long time and now, all of a sudden, it won't...right? Remove the static ip option in Hax, reset your nic/router mac, and let your ISP give you an IP from the DHCP server.

no, its a new modem.

So, Do you want me to reset my modem and then let it achieve isp details?

Right, finally got it online. But I have a new problem.

My original modem is sub Ed but I copies it's Mac to the Motorola modem.

Right? I got online finally but sudden link asks me to register? Even tho my original Mac is subbed

But once after rebooting and accidentally changing number in Mac I can't get all 4 to stay solid.

After 3 minutes gone by my modem would reboot itself and I don't know why.

4th one is blinking.

Did you read above dude?

i managed to get it online with 4 solid lights and it said it was operational. But i accidentally changed my mac by accident, but as soon as it ip completes, retrieve time of day. Then sends registration then it just reboots the modem.

And again and again lol.
