Yeah, well, I don't think this is all rocket science, those jtag ports are all the same. As to USB style JTAG interfaces, that's *not* native. It's all a little weird if you ask me. I always knew it was kind of a kluge.
But a whole bunch of people seem to thing that USB Jtag is somehow *normal*. I don't think so.
I guess the problem is all the shake and bake software that has been cooked up to make JTAG of a particular device like a common cable modem easy to use for civilians.
I have a few XILINX JTAG interfaces laying around here too. Wonder what those are good for?
BTW, those other two posts about the wifi router, that looks like a forum database problem to me. That and your response should not even be on this thread. Unless there was something else that you deleted. I dunno.
