You don't HAVE you use the Cox forums. Did you even read the advice? If you can't get it from there, try searching google. That's how I found several forums which had the forum.

Ok.. if you don't want to get it from Cox user forums, try Teksavvy or another ISP.

I tried googling the firmware name and got that info.. maybe if you add some keywords you'll find a direct download link.
