The net suppose to be free compunction for all any way hence the world wide web or www I have the net I just like tinkering with things Modding America is the only place where you buy something but still can't do what you want with it you can by a modem bit can't put what you want on it or even with game systems you can buy them but it's a no-no to mod them in the states bullshit I bought it so I'm going to do what I want with it a like off topic but never the less just trying to prove a point. Any way back to the modems

As long as your skill set supports it, do what you want...the morality of testing has been beaten to death...no point arguing about it.

Yeah, you are right.

My moral direction was more towards learning how to do something illegal versus asking how to do something illegal.

Isn't that what a forum is for to share info and talk about what the forum was designed for? Why join or ever be on the forum if your not willing to share info isn't that what it was designed for and Neo that auto spell check from smart phone don't be such a. Asshole

That's true but this subject is different...the more you share the harder it makes it for everyone.

Survival of the fittest is the way it is now

lol I feel you im not just sharing with anyone only those who are serious you see ive been on here everyday several time a day this should tell the pros im serious im am messing with bpi bypass now get operational but it freezes IDEA instead of "sharing with the world" just pm me that always works if not its cool another question I read somewhere you can talk through telnet to bypass wg true? false?

RE: new but doing a pretty good job...i think? fully operational on sb5101 but.... - southernyankey1970 - 23-04-2014

If it freezes on bypass then you're in full bpi+ network now. The only loophole you might have is if there is still a hybrid channel in your node for legacy bpi 1.0 devices...slim chance, though. Telnet is quite useful but only you can find out what will work on your node. The CMTS is the key...it all depends on how your ISP has it setup. That will be the deciding factor of what you can do from the cpe..

All 3 of my lappy's have screwed up keyboards, now.....lol. Hate to wait 3 weeks for a replacement from China...lol
