DPC2100r2 Problems - freebullets - 12-06-2012 I'm using a subscribed DPC2100r2 with Haxorware. For the past few months, internet has been dropping occasionally, and the modem needed a reset. For the past couple days, it's been dropping every 10 minutes, and I'm getting high pings. Log: Code: 2012-06-12 08:15:52 Information B605.10 Map Reject - Downstream Traffic Flow Not Mapped to BPI+ SAID (EC=8) I don't remember seeing the TLV-11 message until now. From this thread, I take it that's my issue? What does the error mean, and how can I fix it? Is the stock firmware for my modem available for download somewhere? I forgot to back mine up when I installed Haxorware a couple years ago. RE: DPC2100r2 Problems - ABMJR - 12-06-2012 Are you ignoring any "T" timeouts? what is the signal level? Is this the Lite or Diag version? Your ISP can see Haxorware as it does occupy a small area of Mapped mem RE: DPC2100r2 Problems - freebullets - 12-06-2012 (12-06-2012, 03:40 PM)ABMJR Wrote: Are you ignoring any "T" timeouts?Nope. The T3 is the only one I usually get. RE: DPC2100r2 Problems - ABMJR - 12-06-2012 Is it the Lite or DIAG version of Haxorware? Do you have firmware updates checked to be disabled? Looks like a another TLV-11 issue, which could be a bad CVC from your ISP RE: DPC2100r2 Problems - freebullets - 12-06-2012 (12-06-2012, 04:56 PM)ABMJR Wrote: Is it the Lite or DIAG version of Haxorware? It says, "This firmware contains 145470 bytes of compiled custom CODE, and was built on Thu Nov 12 14:37:44 2009." So, it's the DIAG version. I've had the Disable Firmware Updates checkbox checked, but I'm not sure if it's ever been left unchecked. What does CVC stand for? EDIT: BTW, I called Charter today, and they said they couldn't communicate with my modem. RE: DPC2100r2 Problems - ABMJR - 12-06-2012 You have SNP disabled after registration checked AND you may heave redirected the port to something else.. Disable SNMP Agent after registration is checked and Redirect SNMP Traps is unchecked. Do you know how to fix my issue? I can't do anything with my internet shutting down every 10 minutes. RE: DPC2100r2 Problems - ABMJR - 12-06-2012 remove the check from Disable SNMP Agent after registration I would allow firmware updates... Why you would have Haxorware on a SUBBED MODEM IS BEYOND ME..And its the Diag version which uses some of image1 memory... Read as I think you have no clue what the hell you are doing RE: DPC2100r2 Problems - freebullets - 12-06-2012 (12-06-2012, 07:19 PM)ABMJR Wrote: Why you would have Haxorware on a SUBBED MODEM IS BEYOND ME..And its the Diag version which uses some of image1 memory...I think that's a bit irrelevant, but since you asked, I installed it to gain new knowledge and mess around with my modem. No changes have been made" I'm getting that error when I try flashing the original firmware. Can I not do this through the web UI? Edit: Restored default settings and flashed the lite version. Up to 42 minutes so far... RE: DPC2100r2 Problems - freebullets - 13-06-2012 One of those 2 things fixed my internet dropping issue, but I'm still getting like 500-1000ms ping times. How can I restore the stock firmware? |
