p7 to bin - southernyankey1970 - 26-01-2012 Anyone remember what thread that tutorial is under in SBH? I remember you have to delete a certain number of bytes in a hex editor but i cant remember where the thread was in sbh.. Their search engine is f ing useless! RE: p7 to bin - drewmerc - 26-01-2012 Remove X amount of bytes from the Beginning of the file Docsis: 1604 bytes Euro-Docsis: 1527 bytes or simply 1. open the .p7 file in that program 2. count 20 bytes before the text "ecram_sto.bin" in that .p7 file and delete everything from the start of that file to those 20 bytes (but not them) 3. save that file as .bin RE: p7 to bin - southernyankey1970 - 26-01-2012 this works on 5101 p7's or just d3 p7's. I'm trying to 5101 p7's... Got it! Thanks Drewmerc!!! |
