Scientific Atlanta (DPC2100R2) Network Issue

Im having some problems with my S.A DPC2100, it has haxorware 1.1 rev 39, ive used it with no issue for 5 months, and about 2 days ago my router web light begins to flash orange so i pay no attention to it as i was busy, but when i go to use the pc i see windows 7 network connectivity icon has a yellow exclamation sign. I try to use the net but nothing, and when i do diagnostics it just says i have a DNS error/issue. (as in it cant find the dns server {all wires are connected[i made sure]})

I have 2 modems therefore i used the one i bought (sb5101u) not modded. Im just wondering what the issue could be, i havent touched the settings.

i have no idea either why the date is 1970, im wondering if it could be the mac address that failed....if you need any more info let me know, it would be nice if you could help me out here....i dont mind modding sb5101u but, it would be better if i could keep the 2100.

eh, sorry for the extremely late reply ive been rather busy.

I have a mac on it (the one banned or missing the certs), it just came with the box when i baught it. I pay for cable internet in my residence, but the lowest speed (1mb/s). I used the modem to uncap it and reach up to 10-15mb/s max in my area. Could i use my own mac on the other router and still have the internet at full speed or no?

and how do i unban the mac that came with the modem?

You will need a full 2 MB flash ..

1970 time is known as epoch time, and is used by Motorola and UNIX based systems...

TOD is sent from the server after registration completes..

Yes, Thats a BAN by the CMTS..

I said flash a new 2 MB bin..

I still do not think it will get you on-line, only a walledgardened config...But you can try.
