hello I am new to this modem flashing idea so I boud one already made same model scientific atlanta 2100 works great now I got a new one for my bussiness at a cheaper price afcourse is not flash whit the haxorware version so would someone please point me in the right direction on how to do this any kind of instructions?

wow I do thank you but im still a little confuse I am new to all of this it says to install the software and that I need to save it to tfst folder or something where is this folder what does this mean lol I am really sorry for the trouble.

ok so I download it the tftpd file I opnen it and brose for the folder you told me to download is called DPC2100R2_Without_Cables now it tells me in the instructions to SET UP TCP/IP:
192.168.100.10
255.255.255.0
192.168.100.1
how do I do this and at what point do I connect the box to intall the vertion do I need drivers for the box and how do I run this program no star bottun anywhere lol sorry for my ignorance doning what I canm here.

First install The program net-snmp-5.4.2.1.win32

SET UP TCP/IP:
192.168.100.10
255.255.255.0
192.168.100.1

download tftpd32 standard edition (zip), extract and run tftp32.exe
click browse and select the folder with the haxorware.bin

run the dpc2100r2.bat

how do I do that how do I set up the tcp/ip and after I brose for the folder and selct it how or where do I click to actully run the software and does the box have to beconnected at this point when I run it?

if you dont know how to set a static ip you should not be doing this

you juat pick the folder were the bin is and click ok
there is nothing to select the file is called from the bat script (thats why it must be named haxorware.bin)
