Config/Private Key Charter

I just called my Modem company and there sending me a new modem next Tuesday . I cant wait. 1 gbps , Im going to prepare for it, first thing im doing is replacing all my RG59 cable lines and then taking my modem off the 4th splitter and moving to the first spitter.

On your first splitter, do you have a signal level of 0.000 dbmv? You are a lucky guy.

Oh wait having 10db behind the modem doesnt boost the speed ? next your going to tell me my monster power bar with the cable in/out doesnt help anything either .

You need to have a diamond plated CAT7 cable for optimal speeds.

What modem are you guys using at home for your subs?

I have the SB6183 and it seems OK. I haven't bothered to crack it open yet.
