sb5101 Shutting OFF

My Sb5101 keeps shutting off..try to flash with other rev 32..38 still keeps shuuting off..need advice to resolved the issue....thanks in advance

does it reboot when the coax is not connected?
if not reset to default and redo all settings 1 by 1 each time testing to see if the rebooting starts

Thanks..the coax is connected when it shut down.I never try yet without coax if it shutt down by itself but will do it.I noticed also theres no IP..and keep searching .

Thanks..the coax is connected when it shut down.I never try yet without coax if it shutt down by itself but will do it.I noticed also theres no IP..and keep searching .

With coax plugged in ..it stays on,do factory default and evrytme search for ip ..modem shutting down.

check the frequancy
enter new valid mac
make sure bpi is right

still rebooting post some telnet logs

Thanks for the advice: I change the MAc address so far modem still not shutting off and can used the IE..will closely monitor if stays on ....Thanks again for the Tip.

With regards to MAC i just change the last 2 address with my original MAC ..I would like to know where I can find a valid MAC address...hope you can help.

if it's shutting down yet, disconnect the coax and change the HFCMAC, Ethernet Mac, USB Mac and change the last 3 numbers of your serial number. Reboot, reconnect the cable and it should works.
