Clear arp table on sb5101 how?

As per title, I have a stale arp and do not know how to clear it. I only use this modem with my ps3 online, so how to clear the whole table or just that one entry, doesnt matter. My searches yeilded results such as using a script, but this is generally done from isp end. I'd like to acheive this without reflashing to clear it. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

I can connect any other device to the modem and it works fine, it's just the ps3. I have also connected the same ps3 to my sub line and it works fine there to. So I assume stale arp.

You can clear the ARP table by restarting the modem.

Ah well, not the problem then, this is so weird, yesterday it just effected my ps3, now it's happening with every device. I get operational as normal but then it looks to renew dhcp again , after that i just get the spinning ring on the network icon at the bottom of the screen. the modem however does stay online and does not reboot. Everything seems to be in order. Yet it does not work, it was fine Friday.

I would connect it to a computer to troubleshoot it. Post a telnet log.

Are you using a router?

Use Hax lite as Diag is very easy to see as it oversteps the image size...

switch to lite and run through a router to make mac addy changes easier..

just an educated guess....

Thanks for the replies guys. On further inspection it appears I am being 169'ed. Strange, it is the weekend, it was fine Friday night, and I did get it to work on my lappy yesterday morning. But now it keeps locking me out after it gets operational, then i unplug cat5, plug it back in and am 169'ed. Here is a log, I have replaced certain values with x's. The log ends prematurely as I get locked out of the modem after it goes operational, unlike before. If anyone could point me in the right direction or tell me what im up against id greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

The above message repeats another 15 or so times then I get locked out of modem.

Try not forcing a config file.

You are also receiving a TLV-11 error

Hi neo_,

thanks for the reply. Long story short if I don't force my edited config it won't work period. A lot of people I know that were online with hax0rware haven't been for a long time since d3 rolled out. I have found that if I play around with a config, I am (was) able to operate.

If I disable autoserve I won't even get that far. Those tlv-11's you are seeing are generic. I have erased the modem strings that they apply to, and since they do not apply to me they ae ignored, they were always present in previous logs when everything was up and running too.

Ok, i got it to work with a lappy again, but the ps3 still refuses to pull an ip address from it. If I plug it into my sub it works just fine, what the hell, this makes zero sense.

found the mac in the cpe table and deleted it via cpe_del

the same issue is outstanding, it gives the ps3 a 169 ip, so weird.
