Can you please point me in the right direction...
#1
Greetings,

I have recently discovered that my modem does not have the correct firmware version my isp requires and I would like to correct this. I should add I am experience constant disconnects issues, more down than up time.

I have a sb6141 at 1.0.6.10 and I need version 1.0.6.12

I have lots of previous jtag experience and would like to use the parallel port method as I already have some kicking around. I'm just not sure where to locate the software and bin files required. I've seen the schematics for connections.

Can someone help me get started here? Does a basic how to exist any where?

Thanks

Well so far they have not (over a week) and apparently will not. I'm in Canada on Rogers (actually 3rd party VMedia). Seems because it's my modem I have to complete this firmware update myself.

Does this info exist somewhere? Well I'm sure it's some where! lol

But where? I was browsing around SBH... but my account seems limited for now. I only saw SB 6121 stuff. But still no how to...

Its seams you have firm upgrade disable, if that the case it will not update.

ok heres the firm, you'll need an spi flasher so buy/build one (no jtag)

Outstanding! Big Grin I'll do some more reading and report back how it went.

This is truly appreciated.
