Arris TG862G SSH
#1
I'm new to the modem 'hacking' community and I just managed to SSH into my Arris TG862G but I really don't know what all I can do.

Is there any way for me to possibly do some uncapping/cloning from the CLI and/or do any other cool/useful things?

Btw in some directories I get an error stating that I don't have the proper permissions even though I am root. /me shrugs

Your only "reading" at the root with your permissions..SSH is no biggie. Forget un-capping, that went out the window 5 years ago..

There are only a few things that can be done and its for a short time slot in the beginning of the handshake, and thats it..

BPI is disabled on the modem and my ISP is far behind the majority. They are a small service provider that was recently bought by Roadrunner and then forgotten about so I'm thinking that a lot of things could slip by them.

If only I knew what I needed to do...
