Can you guys share what it generally means when the following occur:
1.) Power Light Flashing;
2.) On-Line light Flashing;
3.) Restarting
4.) All lights good but no IP Address
Not sure which one is for a bad mac or which one is the one has the wrong security. Does it matter if it's SB5101 or SB5100?

Bpi isn't security. Not really. It's simply a low level authentication. Highly effective, though, huh? If your ISP decided to enable just 25% of the sec features available to them in D3 we'd all be done!

NO
Lots of different things cause that. Too numerous to list. Skribblz gave the best answer. BPI+ enforcement. Reboots are usually TLV issues or you're trying to force or serve on an upgraded cmts. Illegal set and all the other fun errors are detailed exhaustively at cisco.com or at SBH.
It also depends on the cmts firmware setup and how it responds to cm errors...
