Config File question..

Hi, I just got TWC from SoCal, I pay for 20Mbps.. .. they provide me with some modem with DOCSIS 3.0... I returned it and use my sb5101..

I'm a completely noob.. at first my speed was at 10Mbps, so dumbo me.. try to upload some config file thinking it might bump my speed up to 20Mbps or even 30..

now im stuck at 3Mbps..

You cant force a config..remove coax from modem...then change 1st MAC of whatever device is 1st conneced after the modem..Change that MAC address...then unplug power rom modem, connect coax power and new IP shud be good and make sure you removed any config you were forcing while changinf the 1st CPE's MAC address
