webstar 2100 back to stock

i bought a webstar from a friend 4 or 5 years ago. he put haxorware on it, and that worked great for what i wanted. now i'd like to flash it back to stock so i can use it with my comcast account. but i have no idea where to start. so i'm looking for suggestion or a writeup on how to flash back to stock, or if i really need to do so.

yea, i saw that, but i dont have a jtag cable or the knowledge on how to do that.
can it only be flashed back with jtag?
