Good day guys,

O.k. learning here bit by bit. O.k. so I flashed a brand new SB5101E out of the box. I'm on TWC Queens, NYC. Looks like next step is to insert a certificate. Can anyone give me a cert I can play with?

Certificates are generated at the time the modem is made..They are HFC MAC specific...

I do have some macs. Not sure if I actually do need certs. Been reading a lot and getting confused. Anyway, I'm posting this tenet log perhaps someone can be kind enough to look at it and tell me what is preventing me from getting on line.

You have BPI + and the certificates you have dont seem to match the HFC MAC addy listed above, we call this a B308.1 error. It means you will be rejected everytime

You have BPI + and the certificates you have dont seem to match the HFC MAC addy listed above, we call this a B308.1 error. It means you will be rejected everytime

So what can I do? Get a cert with a matching Mac right?

You need all the certificates and most likely a CO-CVC that was downloaded when the HFC MAC was provisioned..
