I modded and used by sb5101 two years ago and it has worked fine for a year. Last version: rev31. I'm living in Cal. Last DNS used were: 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.1

So now finish my school and go back to my own room, still don't want to pay for the internet like before so I plugged in the comcast cable (which I used a year ago without paying and i'm pretty sure that it works since the last tenant just had his TV cable before leaving) to the sb5101. I just plugged.

Then modded my sb5101 to rev39.

Now I change the DNS to verizon open range from 4.2.2.1 to 4.2.2.6 but none of these works.

Tried the google dns 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 but no luck

So is it anyway to get the modem work again since i pretty much don't have money to pay for the internet cable.
