Did you find your original cert? If you did just upload it to haxorware . then change spoof from an earlier spoof then just untick disable firmware upgrade then see what happens.

This where I am at the moment.
I was able to do a firmware upgrade using haxoware .
Using SB5101-2.4.1.6-scm02-nosh it took, and the address page shows my
original serial number HFC MAC addy and USB mac addy . It looks like a real old firmware version.

Now what I would like to be able to do is save this full dump for backup purposes.

In jtag utility I used the command save 9fc00000 and named the file backup_2416 and when I used sbtools on it it came back with invalid bin?

What is the correct verbose command to use to save the full bin that sbtools will verify my serial number and mac address

I don't have haxoware on 192.168.100.1 I get the surfboard Configuration Manager screen now. I would have to reload my haxoware_backup.bin to the 5101. No problem doing that . I think my original 5101 backup before I installed Haxoware is corrupt because when I flash that to the 5101 Its bricked. My current state is that I get surfboard Configuration Manager its an old firmware that shows my correct serial number and Mac addy . I left it on the cable for about 2 hrs hoping it would update to latest firmware and go to the CC activation screen but NO.

H ow can I get it to goto the activation screen ?

He allowed, actually, a MIB allowed/overwrote his shell..No more Haxorware..

What do you mean.."an old firmware"? This is the latest, as you were pushed..

Well those are the original certs then...is it just ranging? If it is then you cannot use them anymore on your cmts...cc dos not push signed firm until the certs are validated as provisioned...after it is served a valid cfg file..

1/4...

FYI...The ISP being aware of rogues and Craigs List, now know what memory range is written, and , at the request of the ISP's, creates a MIB/OID value/response. See's the response, forces the update, all knowing that the end user dosent have a JTAG cable and was looking for free cable..cute way, IMO, to kill those that are "JGTAG'less"

I know that my friend as I am in one of those areas as we both know...lol. I don't actually use Hax anymore bcausee of this except to see the log...

There are other ways besides the mighty haxorware.....TRUST Me!!!!Just because it isn't posted in a tab A fits in slot B tutorial does not mean it isn't possible!!! It should be a huge flag to a tester that the firm only comes at a certain point in the auth process....any deviation should warn you off of that setup. But, my area is different I guess...lol.

I don't really know how to run a modem i just use the ......$%28 bin and download free porn all day

you guys are in for a serious f ing eye opener when your little magic bins become "unauthorized.cm"...lmao
