you just need to change the tuner/annex the only difference between the u and n is ones docsis the other in eurodocsis (i used to have a doc saying exactly what to setting to choose to convert)
Code:
----------------------------
change the tuner
----------------------------
cd \non
cd \hal
cm_tuner xx (xx its share 14 17 19 or 22)
write
---------------------------------------------
change the annex for your area
---------------------------------------------
cd \non
cd \hal
annex_ # (# = A -> EuroDOCSIS, B -> DOCSIS, C -> more)
cm_annex @ (@ = 1 -> Annex A, 0 -> Annex B, 2 - Annex C, 3 hybrid)
Write
(It is necessary to change the cm_annex if you change the annex)

anyways at a 2am guess (ok 1am again damn clocks going back fucking uk time) goto the webshell and enter 1 line at a time
cd \non
cd \hal
annex_ B
cm_annex 3
write

well I Did as it is, but the problem is, doesnt do any action.

Attempting Downstream FEC lock @ freq= 226000000 Hz, QAM256
it gives me this message, then it keeps scanning on the right upper side, but when I am sending other commands, all freezes, then I have to reset the unit in order to get in a modem.....
do you have any doc shows full detailed information about webshell full command list.?
thanks!

still scanning do this
cd \cm_hal
scan_stop
cd \

it's better to do these commands in telnet as you get a better response (really how can you people really get by without using telnet)
if you find a full list of commands with explanations i'd love a copy (i have a full list just no explanations)

after an interesting half-hour search i now understand that i was wrong as i always thought the differences between the n and u were docsis and euro docsis but they are not it's simply 1 has a usb port (they are set for both docsis's from new)

well i find it interesting but that does not help you problem, so i'll fall back to the universal question of modems are your certs valid?
