How to Install SNMP on Tomato Router Firmware and Graph Traffic with Cacti
#1
Information
Would the method described in this guide; give a tomato firmware running wireless router the ability to send snmp through it? Meaning that you wouldn't have to plug in your modem to send SNMP commands.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Also just in general if a router does not support SNMP then any sort of SNMP traffic you send through it whether your connection is DMZ'ed or not will be filtered?

SNMP uses port 161. I doubt the modem passes port 161 to the LAN side..Port 161 is polled from the coax side
