OK so these are the steps of what happened:

- changed modem MAC, saved and rebooted
- waited until all lights gone off, then changed NIC MAC
- went to haxorware page and waited until showed operational and assigned IP to my NIC (couldnt have telnet session open as it closes straight away when DCHP assigns IP to my NIC)
- quickly downloaded config (to read for curiosity sake) and opened putty/telnet (as soon as obtained NIC IP from modem)
- within the few seconds of me opening telnet thats where it started logging from (the 'Operational' only lasted a few split seconds)

This type of behaviour has been happenning for the last week or two with modem MACs either:

# showing Operational and working for anywhere from 5min-1 day (followed by constant ranging)
# showing Operational but not browsing net at all
# never showing Operational, constant ranging

PS. Ill post up the config some point after work if it will help (or a screenshot of it)

Here if the config.

It would be nice if Rajokosto could provide his 2 cents about this as it affecting his Haxorware firmware, and in my view hes the best to be looking at this
