usename and password

I forgot my usename and password .I can't log in my modem 5010
I ready try usename is :root ,,,and password is :admin...but not luck
can some one help me the way to find my usename and pasword

down load your 2mb dumb and open it with winhex and u will find it there

he can't access his authorization page how can he download it.
What you do is open up the modem connect with jtag or blackcat, in my case i connected with jtag, go the the CFI flash tab, click Read (meaning save) it will read then ask you where to save it, you save it and open it with winhex, then press Ctrl F, a box will appear type in "password" and there will be couple of them hope you will recognize ur own afterward.

i have blackcat usb bought it on ebay.but i don't know some reason can't connet .
is there any way to find usename and password
ps : the modem still worked is there any software ..like : putty.....to run and find usename and password

only way to get your password is to dump it with jtag, concentrate on why you cant use your jtag

when your blackcat is connected what lights are on the blackcat
what does the blackcat software show both when failing to connect and not connected at all

here's how it is for me (note were the 2 flick switches are on mine)

blackcat usb plugged in and software not running (only red light on)



as above but software running (red and blue lights on)



so now we move over to the software (modem still not powered on)
