i was wondering if i use a jtag to to extract the non-vol, certs with a matching hfc mac from my friends modem atleast 5miles away that is subbed into my modem will it work? and does it matter if im bpi 1.1 and they are bpi 1.0?

does it matter what kinda jtag usb or parallel or not?

kind of like asking if the picture will be different when using vga or hdmi (no difference, tho the hdmi signal maybe better quality)

you can use sbtools if you like to inject the cert from a sb5100 2mb dump to a sb5100mod modem.

no sb5101 cert will not work with sb5100 modem. Even if you use usbjtag it still wont work, only sb5100 cert will work with sb5101.
