Help me please

I have haxorware on my 5101 modem have put in a valid mac get all the light but still getting a 169.254 limited connectivity??

Can anyone tell whats going on by these logs

telnet logs, the event log is a waste of space

I'v narrowed the issue down to the dhcp server not assigning an ip address. This modem was working before but went down when the mac became invalid (account cancelled)

Acquire Downstream Channel Done
Obtain Upstream Parameters Done
Upstream Ranging Done
Establish IP Connectivity Done
Retrieve Time of Day Done
Negotiate security Done
Receive configuration Done
Register connection Done
Cable modem status Operational

This shows all is ok but still no IP address getting assigned, driving me nuts!!!!

wow also pointless and i also deleted the other 2 active threads that you posted because they are also pointless (i will add that how is anybody suppose to know whats inside a config with a dynamic name just open the config in vultreware and look your self)

Not to be rude. But my posts to me aren't pointless. The point is, I'm learning, and trying to understand. Hopefully you can understand that, and there's a starting point for everyone.

your not being rude dont worry about that, it's just i don't see the need for 3 threads when 1 would do (i read every post and it's 3 times as many clicks, yes i'm a lazy ass but all these clicks count)

Name of your ISP? Is your bpi settings on "disabled" or "bpi+bypass"?

Virgin, set as bpi not bpi+

From what I have been told is that Doc 1.0 MAC's are rather rare on Virgin Media. You will most likely need a valid MAC+certs combo and bump it up to Doc 1.1.
