trouble connecting via telnet

When I try to telnet to my SB5101 (haxorware 1.0rc6) I cant seem to get in. I get this error:

Could not open connection to the host, on port 23: Connect failed

In the web control panel I have telnet enabled.

As instructed in the haxorware 1.1 upgrade instructions I have PC set to 192.168.100.10, and I'm trying to connect to 192.168.100.1. I also tried connecting to 10.0.0.1 which is the control panel IP adress of haxorware for me. Any ideas much appreciated, thanks in advance.

if you changed the damn control panel ip then dont set static ip to 192.168 ffs
set it to whatever you have .10

Thanks mister, I upgraded successfully and am back online after re-entering the various settings.
