sb5101 won't go online after 6 months!
#1
NYC, TWC, RR/ELink. I have a Sub (10/0.5) since early 2002 and plan to keep it. I have been using Sb5101 for 6 months with 35/5 speeds. Also used sb5100 before it. So basically used SAME MAC for 2 years! When my sb5100 stopped working with power light blinking and all lights on, so I was started using sb5101. Now my sb5101 also won't go online any more. All lights green with pc activity light blinking orange. Has 1.1 rev 39 haxorware. Here is the log:

What BPI settings I am supposed to select? I believe I don't need to load a config file? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Your issue is ISP related due to new security.

OK, this is the second time I have run into threads discussing this issue. My ISP here is Bresnan (soon to be Cablevision). What is this "New Security" that is being mentioned and what are the options when this issue discovered? Is there a direct thread to this "New Security" and its related solution(s)?

I want to be ready if $4!+ hits the fan here.
