Just interesting when will be ready the full functional GUI based haxorware for SB6120. The open source code used in SB6120 Surfboard DOCSIS 3.0 is available.

although premodded SB6120 is available for sale, but its managing looks very difficult, it requires purchase USBJTAG (NT), and each time needs soldering wires to chip pins, as there is no jack socket, so in order to change serial Num or MAC, we need remove cover and soldering wires to chip pins..

once flashed you can just ssh to the modem (like you can now with telnet)
and change mac's and what not

soldering to chips is only needed when there is no jtag/telnet port for flashing and even then you can buy a clip so you dont need to solder

Regular stock SB6120 modems have no jtag/telnet port for flashing? (as it not intended for flashing). Also, there will no released special "Diag" version of SB6120, like SB5101 was. I know this as I'm familiar with one ISP manager, they are also Motorola modems distributors.

How to ssh a modem?

new versions of the stock sb6120 modems have had the port removed (so yes and no as older ones do)
diag versions no idea

you ssh to the modem like you ssh to anything else (it's just like telnet more or less just a different connection type)

Download Putty then launch it
Host Name: 192.168.100.1
Port: 22
Connection Type: SSH
Click Open
User name: root
Password: sbhacker

so if I manage to get SB6120 version with jtag/telnet port, I need USBJTAG NT only? SB6120 can not be flashed with Jtag Parallel Cable like previous versions SB5101, etc?

I have a 6120 that I had a mod done on it a wile back and never tryed to get it on line. do I get it on line like I did with my other modems through a http address?? and if could you please let me know what it is or do I have to use putty??? And how do I set it up

no idea i suggest you have a look at sbhacker.net as i don't own a d3 modem so i don't know anything about the latest developments

I have a SB5101 with Haxorware on it and I cant get it back online Im on Comcast any Idea How to get it back on line.I have ran CMSniffer and did not come up with any config's Could someone help me out
