1st time using SB5101 ver 39 setup prep questions & more
#1
1)Can I use both my current provider modem(SB5100) R.R. and the new purchased (SB5101 mod hex ver 39) at the same time during the set up.
2) Will this cause problems with the new one or old one?
3) If this is not an issue when I replace my current modems Mac to my new modem and save it should I be ready to go?
4) Can I then use both modems personally at once with the same mac without issues conflicts or breach of cable service agreements? or do i need to use one at a time?Angel

I have been looking for a tutorial but only seen some unviewable videos on youtube. I want to avoid bricking this unit and just have fun experimenting with it the right and legal way.

1. sure
2. no (well snr issues are possible when using splitters)
3. mac, frequency and spoof (certs maybe)
4. one at a time with same mac (if they are on same node)

dont worry about bricking, if it bricks reflash
