I don't think OID requests work on areas with dynamic configs since the SNMP Community String will be different on each CM unless you know the CMs community string. To find it, just look in the config file. If you are in an area that does not have dynamic configs and OID requests still work, consider yourself very lucky. It is only a matter of time.

month ago our isp update the system .

i can ping all other modems 10.X.X.X range
but can´t snmp anymore. other modems.

did isp install like a firewall? all ports to 10.X blocked.
how can read isp then our modems with snmp?.
because they have acces to CMTS?.

on forceware i see incoming snmp scans from isp.

thx in advance

welcome in the club babe
i cant even ping modems near me
if is firewall issue then you can try this trick _http://www.forocable.com/foro/threads/32967-Scan-snmp-etc-open-subnet-metodo2
however yours isp could use vlan managment to isolate everything Wink

You should try fastsnmp on 68.201.xxx.xxx-68.201.255.255. You only see ambit but you can still walk them. Well depending where you are.
