Ipod Nano
#1
So my wife got a Nano and asked me to make it work...lol. I've been sifting through useless Google pages trying to figure out how to get this damn thing to work without putting I Tunes on any of my rigs!

Do I HAVE to put that garbage on one of my babies to set this thing up the first time and then use Winamp to manage it or is there another way?

Yes, as far as I know, iTunes has to initiate it, from then on you can probably use iTools

I was reminded yet again just how much I despise Apple! What a ridiculous process just to put some songs on a mp3 player. I'll stick with my ancient 3 year old Sony Mp3 player...drag n drop and you're f in done! The Nano Touch is made very well, though. Clean design and the only thing I couldn't stand was the Apple firmware...lol.

It's just soooo....irritating to use! All I wanted to do was toss some mp3's on the damn thing and I couldn't even point it to her music folder! The GUI is beautifully made but so Goddamned proprietary it ruins it. It's like an Ipad...gorgeous design and resolution but no inputs!!!! WTF? As if I'm gonna creak open my wallet everytime I want to watch a movie on it! LOL F That! I'll stick to Windows and bend it to my will just like a cm.
