Netgear cg814wg v2 (using Time Warner)

I want to downgrade the firmware .......looking for an older image .....
I want to use tftpd32 and a batch file to put haxoware on this modem
but I believe it has the most recent firmware . The batch file with tftpd32
won't work with this firmware............
Had the same problem with DPC2100r2 modem....fixed it by downgrading to an older image.............
any help out there...........

looking for the Original firmware dump

I Don't understand Why would you need the fulldump, when those Modems come with a noisy bootloader, even with the new Firmware.

My only guess is that you are trying to flash it by telnet not by serial!
I have one of those can get the fulldump if you need it.

Yes I want to put haxoware on it but I think the new firmware is causing a problem.....
The Batchfile I'm using along with Tftpd32 is CG814CXXv2.bat
I have used it before with no problem but I beleive the other netgear modems had an older firmware version.............if you can help
I would appreciate it

check your connections. Tx goes to Rx and Rx goes to Tx so it can communicate with the modem. Check your settings. 115200 is the correct speed. Better yet, go to SBH and look up Invictus. He wrote a fantastic serial flash STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL for the CG's. It's listed in his signature.

Sad how people just want to be spoon fed nowadays. I actually wanted to PM you today but your PM is off.....I thought about it and I could imagine all the PM's you received for people asking you..........

That's because my VIP is gone after the crash over there and for the life of me, I can't find the Goddamned Paypal Transaction to get them to fix it. Kinda pissing me off...
