Modem going out lately
#1
Lately my modem keeps going down and gets stuck ranging... Usually the only way I can get it to work again is unplug the coax while its trying to boot and turn it off. Then Plug it back in and turn it back on. Any better suggestions to permanently fix this? Should I post a TELNET log? or Event log?

If its stuck ranging, I imagine your at the top of the TX level for the CM..

Dont have T-3 timeouts ticked, as the Network needs to sync, and its does this every 30 seconds for timing..

Also, lately when I try to start my modem it will just sit blinking at the online stage or (ranging complete). Then after a little it will just reset itself?

1970-01-01 00:01:43 Notice M572.0 Ds Lock Failed - Reinitialize MAC...

Here is a TELNET Log, except when I made this log, the modem booted succesfully.
