How to write cfg.bin from SB5101U to SBG6580.

This will be very easy to understand only if you have blackcatUSB.exe
Here is what you need first!

1.SB5101U
2.SGB6580
3.BlackCatUSB Jtag
4.on Both unit you need to be able to jtag read and write.
note: both unit means (SB5101U and SGB6580)

SO how you write certs or config file from SBG5101U to SGB6580....

1. Read CFG file from SG6580 using script SB5101U. (Use Script SB5101U for this step)
2. Then Write 6580.cfg on SB5101U cfg file. (Use Script SB5101U for this step)
3. Update SB5101-U with Haxorware Diag.
4.Remove the Jtag and Turn The SB5101U ON!
5 Use Addres section to write Specific HFC Mac (Save then Save and Reboot).
6 Then update working Config file SB5101U by using Menu opition Config.
7. Now you have to Connect Jtag to SB5101U to read CFG File.
8 Then Connect Jtag to SGB6580 and write cfg file from SB5101U. (Use Script SB5101U for this step)
Remove all jtags. then connect as normal and enjoy your Internet
WITH THIS STEPS YOUR WIRELESS WILL WORK TOO!
I havent tried with SB5101, or SB5100.

And I dont think so if any 6580 Modem starts with MAc 00: etc.....
IF your not using BlackCat USB Jtag, it wont make sense to you for sure!!

I have full dump and cfg of SBG6580.
There is any way of use this cfg on SB6120 ?

all depends on what the size of the cfg is (tho you could just use nonvol explorer to extract the certs and inject them into the sb6120)

Good idea, the problem is that the cfg of SB6580 is 64kb.
no way to put you directly in the nvram of sb6120?
