Supposing a node is in a non bpi+ enforced area. Can a mac address that works on a SB5101 work on a SB5100?

NODES are just 'muxs"..NODES connect to CMTS's. CMTS's are either BPI selectable

Yes, of course. if your cmts is not bpi+ enabled then you pretty much have free reign on your node if you have a little testing skill. God, I MISS THAT SHIT! It was sooooo easy!
