You dont edit certificates...They are generated by VeriSign @ the time of production

Auto rejected is usually this.. AUTH_REJECT_PERMANENT_AUTHORIZATION_FAILURE

The key here is to get the original cert from a sub modem or a white listed test modems not from your node . Find some certs and test them one by one.There are other ways but it need some telnet commands or some friends from the inside.
