Thanks, I did try it but it looks like for VERSION 8, the default Tuner CFG = MXL261 x2 and the PGA Type = MT1570 does not work. It cannot lock into channels.
Continues to work fine for me. You could fail to lock channels for other reasons.

Did u try to see if stock firmware locks on??

Forceware T3-timeout occur to me on the SB6141 rev:4 ,Hardware Version: 8.0
It can lock the channel,but it can not send out data from Upstream,even the power level is displayed to 58dBv,then T3-timeout.

I supposed that 'virgin' refers to official firmware...
I mean the official firmware loaded on SB6141 when I bought it.
