does ethernet work on modem it self

it does when it's told too, but just gonna find a good flash that may hopefully solve the problem, I probably hit a wrong tab and wiped the nvram, and hence it's all topsy turvy, tried your two 8mb's, to no avail

Yeah.. 1st, input the script I posted to test it, and hopefully learn more of puma based systems

Eh? Are you saying you used said script and got it working, or are suggesting I should? Damn I wish you would make sense sometimes

How can you/I have used the script on the modem I got working, when I cant for the life of me get the ethernet of modem to do anything?
autoconfiguration for all ports is disabled, no matter what firmware I use, god knows why, since I have flashed 3 entirely different ubee images, seems I'm going round in circles trying to figure it out, have even tried different nvrams to no avail.. but the ethernet port aint dead, it's simply switched off in modem. Ps, spi is reading/writing fine..

did it work with before flashed while stock was on

Yes, but I reckon my backup was taken at wrong time duh, ie, I'd checked all tabs, but obviously been on wrong tab whilst writing whatever, and backup is half wrecked, but surely another 8mb I have would reset everything, albeit with a different mac/cert package? This does not seem to be the case..
Edit: My corrupted 8mb: 00000000.bin (Size: 8 MB / Downloads: 13) Double edit: and whilst going through what appears to be the perfect flash to use, I found this in DOCSIS Modules List, everything is disabled, which may explain thing's? [ 0] INIT: Disabled | [ 1] PROVISIONING: Disabled [ 2] BPI: Disabled | [ 3] SNMP: Disabled [ 4] SWDL: Disabled | [ 5] CVC_VERIFY: Disabled [ 6] CFG_PARSER: Disabled | [ 7] DCC: Disabled [ 8] CHM: Disabled | [ 9] DMD: Disabled [10] DMG: Disabled | [11] RCCDB: Disabled [12] CHDB_TX: Disabled | [13] TCC_PARSER: Disabled [14] EVENT_MGR: Disabled | [15] REGISTRATION: Disabled [16] FLTR_CLASS: Disabled | [17] HAL: Disabled [18] DS: Disabled | [19] SME: Disabled [20] UCD: Disabled | [21] US: Disabled [22] NVRAM_DB: Disabled | [23] IPP: Disabled [24] QOS: Disabled | [25] PROD_DB: Disabled [26] REINIT_MAC: Disabled | [27] DSID: Disabled [28] UTILS: Disabled | [29] CMSTATUS: Disabled [30] CMCONTROL: Disabled | [31] MDD: Disabled [32] FREQ_SCAN: Disabled | [33] LEDD: Disabled [34] DOCSIF: Disabled | [35] MNGT_FLOW: Disabled [36] CHDB: Disabled | [37] SYSCFG_DB: Disabled [38] DOCSISCFG_DB: Disabled | [39] CHDB_RX: Disabled [40] DBC: Disabled | [41] DPV: Disabled [42] QOSDBC: Disabled | [43] UPCM: Disabled [44] DOCSIS_PP: Disabled | Is this normal? My problem was created whilst attempting to debrick the brick, I'd swapped brick for new tester, then thought I'd walk dog, before coming home to pick up where I left off, forgetting I did not close usbjtag software, and hit flash, so corrupted new one like the idiot I am.. |
