Tried that.. it seems like if I don’t plug in anything into the coax, it would randomly reboot itself after 5 min. I don’t want to plug in the coax in case it firmware updates. So, I’m gonna sell it to someone, and hopefully something good will come out of it supporting this community. We’ll see....

you have serial access to the modem? can you open it up and post pictures of the board and flash.

if you have serial access you can fix it.... i mean i can fix it for you via teamviewer.

I'm not sure why they tried selling it on eBay. Seems like every industry watches the big marketplaces for their shit (e.g. airlines for companion passes).

The modem is missing a startup script, christianrodher says with serial access he can correct this.
