Is there a "conventional" checksum algorithm used on original SB modem firmware such as Modular sum 8 bit, CRC32, Adler32, etc. Anyone know what particular one is used? If so, is it used for the firmware image/s(960kB compressed), the entire flash (2MB) or some other way?
