Well, it may (where you are) remove the encryption and hence show the cmts priv string in plain text, in theory of course
But if the output of the cmMIC and cmtsMIC cannot be derived from the input, then I guess all YOUR traffic will be unencrypted, if sent at all with this switch turned off..
