flash it whit haxor and stick a mac on and see if it goes online (take a full dump first)
I'm sure this will sound totally stupid and totally newbie !!! but can i edit the haxoware with the usbjtag software? i downloaded the haxoware but there this no user interface with it so i'm a bit lost...although i'm still in the reading process i have a long way to go still....again and again and again i'm sorry for the stupid questions !!!! and are you sure i can just put my 14 pin usbjtag nt in the 10 pins? there doesn't seem to be a good connection and they kinda stick up a bit cause there's the board that the extra pins are sitting on top of..
edit..k i found part of my question...you have to use a software program like usbjtag's to put the haxoware in it...now i still have to add a valid mac right? is this done in notepad or the same prg? is there a certain code i have to put in in order to do this?..sorry for all the questions..i find that reading, asking, then reading more helps me out a lot !!!
edit again...figure i might as well keep all this in the same thread...so i think my problem mybe that i have a 14 pin usbjtag nt and the board on the sb5101 has only 10 holes !! i tried to put the jtag in it and just let the other 4 pins sit on top of the board but it doesn't seem to see it at all....tried to detect it and nothing...does the pins have to be sodered in there or can they just sit in the holes? i've tried to put the pins each way in the holes on both the front and back of the board..remember i'm a totally dumbass newbie at this...but i'm trying hard and willing to learn....thanks guys and gals...
