never stops ranging never gets past upstream HELP!!

and i HAVE been reading..cant fing what frequencies to start at....and still confused by all the settings...ive probably screwed this modem up...and have to go to a wifi spot to look anything up on laptop ..THIS REALLY SUCKS!!..need help please..thanks

it does not really matter what frequencies you enter, if it does not lock it will scan all frequencies
it just takes longer as it has to scan (the numbers you enter are just scanned first)
