DPX2213 w/hax0 [SOLVED!! thnx Drew}

I have a dpx 2213, I can get haxorware onto it no problem with a usbjtag and a jtag converter.But the problem is, after I put hax0 onto the modem, the modem will no longer lock on downstream...It just tries over and over again forever... Is there a solution to fix this? I have tried flashing it back to stock, letting it come online, then flashing hax0 back to it, but the same thing happens...Thanks in advance for any and all help..;-D

Sure no problem..I also attached a cpl pics of what I think are the serial ports..If not then I guess the normal white clip that looks like an old sound card cord would be the serial? (4 pins) The one i thought was it has 6 pins ( i know only 4 would be used) just curious though..

pics for my serial question are outlined, one in red and one in yellow, if you can tell me which one (red or yellow) is the serial port, and if possible the tx, rx, gnd, pw..Thanks!!

ps:In the 5120 shelled firmware, If i connect via serial, there is a "program tuner" option in the shells help menu. Would this be useful to fix the problem?? If I could program the tuner in the this too? Thanks in advance!

Um ok. but what is that supposed to mean? Are u referring to the casing over the tuner? I did not know until you showed me the pic that it was the tuner..I will post a pic with the shielding off. I am Sorry.

anyways try changing to 21 or 22 (i think)

cd /n/h (press enter)
cm_tuner 21 (press enter)
cm_annex 1 (press enter)
write (press enter)

my point being that turner is supported (no idea what your cm_annex should be, but thats what i would use)

Niceee thank a lot for all your help (AGAIN!!) I really hope I can get this to work now..I feel a lot more confident now that I know can/how-to program the tuner.

But are sure BCM3420 tuner is supported?? The highest I can go in programming it is; cm_tuner is 20 (but that is for bcm3418 tuner). if I try to put 21 it gives me an "invalid, nothing changed" type of error. SO I set it to the last one (which is 19, which = BCM3419) but so far no luck.

At least i can keep trying, there is a dozen to try and also some annex settings i can alter and mess with..Point is thanks for the info and help. If I do end up succeeding it will be because of you, again!! :-P
