jsut reflash it and make sure u set up the correct ip settings etc etc

Just reflashed again no luck. try it with the original firmware and it work but couldn't modify the setting so is useless.
change the IP setting to
192.168.100.10
255.255.255.0
192.168.100.1(try it with & without)
Also change the Mac address

Is there anything else i can do ?

Your port is bad. It's done unless you use the usb port which is pointless.

So your saying with original firmware you can login to modem, but when you modify the firmware you cant access it?

Yes . I just order another sb5100 it came in today to do a compare. the old modem that i can log into 192.168.100.1 with the orginal firmware i don't see the S/N n some other info missing like the freq's could that be a problem ?

After you flash the firmware does the modem boot up properly or the light them stay off?
