i assume i have to do it with jtag utility, the same steps to flash the haxorware version...

i just dont want to fuck even more my modem, its still alive, i already made a mistake so just dont want to kill it entirely

There's No Way To Fully Kill Your Modem Unless You Take A Hammer And You Know.... And Might I Recommend That You Do More Research.

i already did the 2mb back up from my working sb5101, i just want to know what program should i use to program the 2mb dump on my non working sb5101 modem

can you guyz advice me on that ?

black cat did the trick with first step, i just programed the 2mb dump, and its working now, i can see the blinking green leds Big Grin

so now i just have to program it with the file you guys gave me on tom´s jtag utility

detect
ldram 9fc10000
*select file and open*
program 9fc10000 130000

it's erroring only once then it is writing and verifying so that means it's good (just takes longer)

do i have to make an ftp server to upload my DAT file on the sb5101(as in sb5100).

I was able to do this on the "advanced" Tab on the SB5100, on the "config uploader" option, just browse and then upload.

on the SB5101 I dont have the "browse" or "upload" option (maybe because its version 130) and sb5100 its version 142

am i rite, or shoul i start another post asking this ?

is this dat file your nonvol? if so just flash it with toms something like ldram cfg flash cfg (drunk not sure if correct command maybe program cfg)

nope, this file its a .DAT file (the name is VXUM.dat)

i uploaded this file on the "advanced " tab on my SB5100 modem using Sigma x2

i didnt program it with any program, just "browse", then "upload" .


now in the SB5101 with sigma X2(older verison 130) i dont have that option, at least not the exact same option.


i just can see some option about the ftp server to upload the file.


its that the same option im talking about ?
