hi all can any 1 explain why macs that i sniff in ubr 3 using dhcp force will not work in ubr 7 had 150 macs and every 1 of them said invalid ip what is the cause please any 1

did you try changing your bpi settings when testing the macs
ubr2 always needs bpi for some strange reason where i am

im in dewsbury w.yorkshire and i was told not to have bpi enabled cause it causes problems

bpi is part of the cable co's network security so retry the macs you have with bpi enabled

thanx to u all i have always had it dissabled but round at my m8s as soon as i enabled it it worked so thanx very much
