yes. Mac collision. Teamview into a friends computer in another node and run a mac scanner and use those macs.

the mac address we got was from the sw side of town, we are about 10 miles away from the node, still getting connection error. what file do i upload? and where do i upload it at? we bought a pre mod off ebay. our friend works at mediacom and we get macs all the time.

i know i am a noob as hell. but i still want to learn my ADHD won't let me give up. lol

still no progression, we got new macs, tried from opposite sides of town, no luck. the modem just reboots...can we copy over the config file from the working modem onto the new modems?
